Partnerstwo Transforming Health and Care Systems (THCS) stawia sobie za cel koordynację i optymalizację wysiłków badawczych w Europie i krajach partnerskich w obrębie innowacji w systemach opieki zdrowotnej.
W dniu 22 marca 2023 r. uruchomiono I konkurs na projekty badawcze pt. „Healthcare of the Future”. Celem konkursu jest dofinansowanie najlepszych pomysłów i rozwiązań w celu odciążenia i zmniejszenia presji na wyspecjalizowane placówki opieki zdrowotnej (m.in. szpitale), przy jednoczesnym uznaniu ich centralnej roli w systemach ochrony zdrowia.
- To provide the necessary knowledge to build the health and care of the future. This includes addressing several dimensions of health and care systems such as quality, safety, equity, efficiency, effectiveness, accessibility, sustainability, economy, ethics and resilience in reorganised health and care settings. By providing this knowledge, the call aims to support the development of new and innovative solutions that can address the current and future challenges facing health and care systems.
- To support the implementation of innovative solutions on a larger scale. This includes identifying and promoting the adoption and transferability of evidence-based and successful practices that have already been proven to be effective in some contexts in addressing the challenges facing health and care systems. With research and innovation supporting the implementation of these existing solutions, the call aims to accelerate the pace of change and make a positive impact on health and care systems in a more efficient way.
The research results should have a clear potential to be translated into policy recommendations or actions.

Maksymalny budżet pojedynczego projektu nie może przekroczyć 300 000 euro, niezależnie od liczby partnerów z Polski w tym projekcie.
Harmonogram konkursu:
- Rozpoczęcie naboru deklaracji wstępnych (Intent to Apply): 22 marca 2023 r.
- Zakończenie naboru deklaracji wstępnych (Intent to Apply): 23 maja 2023 r. (14:00 CET)
- Zakończenie naboru wniosków konkursowych (Proposal): 13 czerwca 2023 r. (14:00 CET)
- Wyniki konkursu i publikacja listy rankingowej: październik 2023 r.
